The legal profession is not popularly known for its progressive stance on diversity in the workplace. Despite industry-wide conversation about improving diversity ratios, the legal field has spent a considerable amount of time as one of the least diverse of any industry. After decades of attempting to increase diversity and inclusion within the legal industry, minority attorneys now make up a record 16 percent of law firm legal personnel.
